At Themes & Flowers, we appreciate creative elements of versatility. When we look at the shelves in our warehouses and see our votives, vases and containers, we do no not pigeonhole them into a particular look or theme. Instead, we imagine how they can add an industrial or glamorous or rustic element to a vision. We don't rely on how they were used in previous events, but how they can add something fresh and unique for each client. As you can see in the above photos, we love using the same vase to bring structure and flare to a wide array of themes, from nautical to graffiti!
One of the themes that has gained popularity is the "industrial" look. We love this trend and enjoy using a mixture of wire, metal and stone elements to add an industrial vibe to any given theme (and also add some great texture to the design).
To the left are three different examples of our designs using a test tube/ wire vase. We want to share with you the versatility of our pieces and hopefully provide some inspiration for your next corporate event!
It was initially used for an event that wanted hints of scientific elements in the centerpieces in order to pay tribute to the guest speaker who was a scientist. We paired the vase with small science beakers in different shapes and sizes to play off of the test tubes in the center.
During the holiday season we helped to design a modern look with orange hues and metallic accents. In this case, the test tube centers added height to the grouping and helped play up the metallic elements. Unlike the science theme, that used a mixture of colored florals and had a wildflower feel, this event focused on one color with a poignant contemporary vibe.
The most recent event that we used this industrial vase for was an "Industrial Nautical" event. It was an awesome fusion of oceanic elements with stone and metal accents. We thoroughly enjoyed designing for this unique twist on two familiar themes. The addition of wire, metal and stone to the sand and shells really brought this vision to life!
Take a look at some photos that showcase these different themes. We hope you are inspired to take these industrial elements and put your own twist on them for your clients!
