Family owned and operated, Themes and Flowers Corporation was born in 1988, when Polly Nowak, a Master Florist born and trained in Germany, decided to take the risk of stepping down from her prominent position working with a caterer in order to share her design talents with a wider market. Herb Nowak, her husband joined the successful and rapidly growing business, expanding their market through his sales and branding expertise. He was able to grow the business beyond florals and into large scale décor production. Melinda Nowak, their youngest daughter, joined the team and utilized her design, sales experience and operations management skills to continue generations of success. Together with our dedicated team of employees, Themes and Flowers continues to provide personalized florals, props and theme production services for corporate events of all sizes, from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
